Relationship ~ Interesting topic preached by Pastor Kong during service on Sun

On sunday, Pastor preached on Relationship !!! This muz be the HOT topic man ... lol the whole church were jammed packed with people ... (",() anyway I wanna share abt some of the things which I have learnt from this service.

"A self-esteem of a woman, is dependent on how her husband values/appreciates her". This is so true. If her husband always put her down infront of his friends, it simply means she has no value in his eyes! So guys, before u speak anything to her spouse or GF, pls think twice b'coz u might pull down her self-esteem.

Another thing was that "Just having the intension is not enough, we got to have SKILLS!!" The skills to meet ur partner's mentally, emotionally and physically needs. Very often we DO NOT meet our partner's needs as are just meeting the needs that we think is his/her needs. DON'T ever guess what's ur partner's needs are, UNDERSTAND and ASK.

It has became so common that Men and Woman will start to have affairs after marriage. The reason is very simple. B'cos he/she could not fulfill his/hers needs so they have to find the 3rd party to meet what they desire for. Therefore, MEETING UNMET needs ARE IMPORTANT!! And DO NOT ever PRESUME your PARTNER's needs! =)

Affairs means " sexual relationship between two people who are not married to each other".
Sex + True Love = Genuine Intimacy

What does a woman seek for in a relationship?
1) AFFECTION: it symbolizes
a) Security
b) Protection
c) Comfort
d) Approval

Guys pls be more expressive like (giving of cards, gifts, flower, dinner, words) Don't ever forget important dates. lol

What does a Man seek for in a relationship?
1) Sexual fulfillment:
A guy make a decision to get married is primarily cos of SEX. And Men will expect his woman to give it to him whenever he has the urge for it.

Likewise, woman will expect their man to show AFFECTION to her. All these require SKILLS and PRACTICE. =)
